These are good and a very useful way to keep clothing out of a landfill, but you have to put some effort into this. First thing is to be ready to be able to use some sharp side cutters ( cutting pliers) to remove the old zipper pull. You will need some hand strength to do this. For me, its not an issue, but my wife tried and she is not strong enough to cut the zipper pulls off the jacket. A suggestion to get past it is to nip off small bits of the zipper pull vs trying it all at once. Secondly, go to the Zlideon website to see which pull is best for what you need. There is a way to check the markings on the back of the broken zipper pull vs what Zlideon suggests. It helps to have a small metric ruler. Since I had a few broken zippers, I picked the variety pack which was a good idea, so I could try different pulls they have for the application. If you fix a couple of zippers with the variety pack, it pays for itself. They work, but if you dont know what exactly to do like me, then try a few size options in the variety pack to get it right. This little gadget so amazing! Instead of replacing a couch cushion zipper, I simply replaced the pull. I used the “nylon” pull.

Zipper slider broke on a pair of favorite shorts. I saw this product and I was pretty skeptical based on the mixed reviews. The price seemed a little expensive for what it is, but assumed a dry cleaner repair would probably be 3-4x as much. I took the advice of going directly to the company website to type in the type of zipper I had. It gave Narrow XS for my situation. When it arrived, I snapped it on in a few seconds then just went up and down to have the zipper align. Seems to work perfectly so far without issue. There is a pointy piece on it that I think is used to hold the fabric when pull is flat down but haven’t encountered any issues from it. Hopefully you might get lucky and work in your situation as well.

The zipper pull on my favorite, vintage jacket broke. An alteration shop wouldn't try to repair it. A second shop wanted to completely remove the entire zipper and replace it with one that didn't match the jacket. They suggested I look online for a correct color zipper, and they would sew it on for $70.00. Found no exact matches. Saw this product. Ordered it, but was skeptical about getting the correct size, and whether it would actually work. IT DID! My jacket looks, and works great!! Thank you!!!

The first time I wore a new bag it got caught on an airplane pocket and broke the zipper. It’s a front carry sling bag that now hangs open and lacks the space. I ordered this hoping for the best and it works! Took about 20 seconds and the bag is fixed! It was a little hard to get open with my nails but I used a butter knife and turned it, it popped right open. I ordered size large, worked for a normal zipper.
