I'm a knife collector since the 80's. From Benchmade, Balisong, Seki Japan Spydercos, Bob Lum.... etc. Now I also have a few CRKT knives, all satisfied. Now this guy.... The Provoke... great concept, very cool design. Sturdy and sharp out of the box. Thick blade and aggressive! Finger ring large enough for most likely any size human finger. Now the CONS.... The deployment takes a bit of time to get used too. I've been practicing with mine almost every minute cuz it's a cool blade, but I cant get the deployment down 100% yet. Maybe more practice. Now if ur a knife fighter. Take up some extra karambit moves if ur gonna be using this as an EDC. Different angles than a traditional blade for all tasks, including self defense usage. Price... a bit much concerning the cons I have listed for this guy. But, ur paying for coolness n being the first on ur block to own one. Check it out urself, maybe I'm the dumb one, but again...

It’s my every day carry at work. But you can’t just carry it in a pants pocket because it will open when you don’t want it to and it’s sharp…. I have a vest with a narrow sewn in pocket and it rides there. Zero issues with it opening at unwanted times in the vest pocket. The entire knife is robust and will likely out live my use of it. If there was something I would change, the pocket clip cannot be relocated in any way. This also limits how you can carry it or draw it for that matter.

This 'hunting' knife is unique among all the styles and categories of knives that I'm aware of. The opening and closing mechanism are really cool, and are what drew me to this knife. It's a cool knife to add to one's collection!
